Amazingly quick chickpea curry

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 1 can tomatoes (400 g)
  • ¼ cup tahini
  • 1 Tbsp (Indian) curry powder
  • 1 Tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (salt)
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • pinch of black pepper.

Why?

You can eat well in very short amount of time

How?

  • Put drained and rinsed chickpeas in a pan on medium heat
  • Place tin of tomatoes and all other ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth
  • Pour over chickpeas and heat until begins to bubble

Serve and enjoy

Serve with

  • Rice
  • Naan bread
  • Sprinkle of chopped coriander
  • Could replace chickpeas with butter beans
