Asian Cucumber salad

  • Cucumber
  • Salt
  • Garlic
  • Soy Sauce

Why?

Super simple, super tasty and can add to for additional flavour

How?

Clean and slice cucumber as you like. A great way is to put two chopsticks underneath, slice it thinly but not all the way through (the chopsticks will prevent it going all the way through). Then turn it upside down and slice it at 45 degree angle, this will give a great layered effect.

Place sliced cucumber in a bowl, sprinkle over with salt. Leave to sit for 10mins and pour out excess water.

Sprinkle over the garlic, some more salt and soy sauce.

I've not added measurements, to allow you adjust to how it tastes best to you.

Mix and leave sit for 10mins and serve.
