Lemon smoothie

Ingredients

  • Whole Lemon
  • 3 Dates
  • 2cm Ginger
  • Tsp Vanilla extract
  • Tsp Cinnamon
  • Tsp Agave

Why?

Just try it, tastes great, is healthy and super easy to make

How?

Remove stones from dates, use the edge of a spoon to take the skin from the fresh ginger and then put it and everything else shown above in a blender for 30 sec to a minute. Poor over ice. You can strain to remove the bits, but I quite like them.

Yes, keep the lemon whole! Throw it all in and what comes out is not sour, but really quite delicious.

Additional options

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • Tsp olive oil
  • Maple syrup (in place of Agarve)

Or something else of your choosing

Try also to replace dates with prunes, you really don't notice much difference in taste.
