Super quick and easy hummus

Ingredients

  • 1 tin chickpeas
  • 2 tbsp reserved chickpea water
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Why?

So much cheaper than store bought hummus

How?

  • Drain tin chickpeas, reserve the water
  • Add garlic clove, 1/2 tsp cumin, tsp ground coriander, tbsp lemon juice, tbsp olive oil and 2 tbsp reserved chickpea water
  • Blitz in food processor until smooth. Add more liquid if needed to get consistency you like
  • Remove and serve with chips, carrots or bread.
  • Sprinkle over paprika for taste
  • Eat well!

  • Carrot, chips, celery, flat bread etc
