Tso Chickpeas

Ingredients

  • 400g can chickpeas, drained and rinsed

Sauce

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2  tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp crushed chili or red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 clove minced garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp cornflour/cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

How?

  • Add all sauce ingredients to large saucepan and stir over a low-medium heat until slightly thick but not gloopy
  • Once thick, add rinsed chickpeas, stir to combine for 2-3 mins.

Serve with rice, broccoli or side of your choice
