Turmeric tea
Ingredients
- 2 inch n
 - Cup of water

Why?
Good for your gut and reducing inflammation 
How?
- Slice turmeric into thin rounds (no wider than ¼-inch), add to saucepan of water
 - Bring to a boil, reduce heat to simmer for 5 minutes.
 - Remove from the heat. Pour mixture through a mesh sieve into a mug.
 - Serve with a lemon or orange round and/or a light drizzle of honey or maple syrup, to taste. Serve hot.
 

Additional options
- Cinnamon stick for a little additional flavour
 - Sprinkle of black pepper (black pepper works great with turmeric)
 - Slice of Lemon, orange or lime
 - Sprig of mint
